These terms cover your use of this website, its private galleries and the photographs on it. By using the site you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.

About this site

Mink’s Aperture (“I”, “me”) is a hobby photography project based in Perth, Western Australia. The site shows a portfolio and gives event attendees access to private photo galleries.

Private galleries

• Gallery passwords are for people who attended that event and their community. Please don’t post a password publicly.
• I may change a password or close a gallery at any time, for example after a removal request or if a password leaks.
• Don’t try to get around the password protection, scrape the galleries, or bulk-download them with automated tools. The gallery’s own “Download all” button is fine to use.

Using the photographs

I own the copyright in all photographs on this site. When you download a photo from a gallery you may:

• keep it and print it for yourself;
• share photos of yourself on your personal social media. A credit to @pup.mink is appreciated.

Unless I agree in writing, you may not:

• post or share photos of other people without their consent. Being in a photo is not permission to be outed or published;
• use photos commercially, sell them, or use them in advertising;
• use photos to train, test or prompt AI systems, or to build face recognition or identification tools;
• use photos to harass, out, identify or embarrass anyone.

Event organisers who need photos for promotion should contact me to arrange it.

Removal requests

Anyone can ask for a photo of themselves to be removed. See photo removal. If I remove a photo, please delete any copy you downloaded.

Bookings

Nothing on this site is an offer to provide services. Event coverage and private bookings are agreed separately in writing, and those arrangements apply alongside these terms.

Other websites

This site links to event pages and to Instagram. I don’t control those sites and am not responsible for their content or practices.

Availability and liability

The site and galleries are provided as they are, and may be changed, interrupted or taken down without notice. To the extent the law allows, I am not liable for loss arising from your use of the site or from photos being unavailable.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot be excluded.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia, and the courts of Western Australia have jurisdiction over any dispute.
